2000s Jay Chou is so inescapable though... I just put on another cmovie on Netflix where Chinese Alexa hears someone say "听妈妈的话呀！" and starts playing 听妈妈的话 by Jay Chou and I'm happy to report that we do get to hear a few of the opening notes from that!

Anyway for Jay Chou specifically he used to have his own label with his regular lyricist and they recently partnered with Universal Music Group and I wonder if that changes things, especially with the Netflixification of cmedia.
