feeling as full as the mid-autumn moon
It's mid-autumn and I finally remembered that I own this moon rabbit necklace that I bought a while back:

I've been mentally down in the dumps, and I thought I'd celebrate anyway to switch things up: saw 消失的她 Lost in the Stars (Ni Ni + Zhu Yilong thriller; now showing in selected theaters here) and got a birthday gift for my brother and takeout while I was there. With only three of us at home, I didn't have to spend as much money on food, which was nice. XD
Mid-autumn dinner was our usual DTF order of house special (appetizer) and crispy beef strips, and the less usual prawn salad (would normally go for salted egg prawns, but mooncakes already have salted yolk in them, so!!!). Mooncakes were also... usual flavors (red bean and white lotus) from the usual shop. Every year I vow to be more adventurous but every year I fall back into safe and easy decisions haha. I actually really wanted to try HK MX's premium durian mooncakes (a new flavor, I think!), but they don't sell those by the piece. ;___;
I guess I can consider myself officially entering the last quarter of 2023, and I'm very worried of falling back down into a terrible and lightless anxiety spiral as the year ends, but I will try to... not think about that akjs;dafap; On the flip side I might be able to upgrade my current secondhand iPhone to a newer(??) secondhand iPhone with more storage space (but no earphone jack, tragically) soon. Hopefully I'll at least have fewer phone issues, though I'm not super optimistic. ^^; I've also installed some messaging apps on my computer, for... various reasons (installed desktop Wechat purely for running a miniprogram without melting my phone, lol), and hopefully that makes responding to people easier too. Unless my computer dies. orz
