In in the intro there are two white men and one black man. The English translation removes both the slur that the white people use and any racial identifiers—IIRC in the translated version, they just come across as pale and dark. This means that those chapters read completely differently in Chinese and English. Like it turned me off, personally, and it was weird talking about the racism to people who did not have any idea that there was something like that happening.
