There are a couple of books that are not objectively brilliant but to which I will forever owe a debt of gratitude because they completely sucked me in during a time when I was distracted and upset by the world, yeah, I get you.

I'm hoping as I get used to single life, some of it will come back. if I can, like, aim a fire extinguisher at the world or something.
